McIntyre takes lead after round 3 of NZ V8s

Nelson's John McIntyre (Talley's Ford Falcon) has taken a commanding lead in the 2009/10 BNT V8s Championship after notching up two race wins and a 9th place to take overall Round 3 honours.

Chasing McIntyre all the way was Queensland based Kiwi Craig Baird (United Video Falcon) with two second places and an 8th while consistency saw Kayne Scott third overall with a 3rd and two 7th places.

Auckland racing driver Angus Fogg has had his 50 sec penalty overturned in Round 3 of the BNT V8s Championship following a successful protest at Teretonga Park today.

Fogg has been reinstated in 7th place for Race 3 which moves him back onto the podium with 3rd place overall for the round and in 6th place in the championship with 381 points.
